Is Perplexity free to use?

Yes. The free tier handles unlimited standard searches plus a limited number of Pro searches each day, which is enough for most casual research.

What does Perplexity Pro add?

Pro dramatically raises the daily Pro search limit, lets you choose between frontier AI models, and adds file uploads, image generation, and expanded Spaces for organizing research.

Can I get Perplexity Pro free?

Sometimes. Perplexity has run partner promotions with carriers such as Airtel, and verified students can get Education Pro at a discount. Check current eligibility on Perplexity's help centre before paying.

Is annual billing cheaper on Perplexity?

Check the current monthly and yearly Pro prices on Perplexity's pricing page. Schools and nonprofits can get Enterprise Pro at $30 a seat a month or $300 a seat a year.

How do I redeem a Perplexity promo code?

Partner offers are usually redeemed through a dedicated landing page or by linking your carrier or bank account. Direct promo codes are entered on the subscription payment screen.
