Where offers come from
We list an offer only when the brand publishes it somewhere we can link to: its pricing page, promotions page, blog, app or official partner page. Each offer keeps that link, shown as its source, so you can read the original terms. If we can't find a source, the offer doesn't go up.
Codes and deals
A codeis something you paste at checkout. We list a code only when the brand itself shows it. We never guess codes from a store's name. A dealis a discount that applies on the brand's own site, such as annual billing or a sale price, with nothing to paste. Most offers on Coupo9 are deals, and we label them that way rather than dressing them up as codes.
What “Checked” means
“Checked 5 days ago” means someone opened the offer's source page 5 days ago and confirmed it matched. The date changes only when a person looks again, never automatically. We don't buy through every offer, so it confirms the offer was published, not that it will work on your particular order.
Reviewed stores
A store page marked Reviewedhas had its description, FAQs, tips and store details checked against the brand's official site, and all its live offers have sources. Store pages we haven't reviewed yet stay available to visitors but are hidden from search engines until they are.
Success rates
Shoppers can vote on whether an offer worked. A success rate appears only after 10votes, so a single click can't make an offer look great or broken. Click and reveal counts come from real visits. We never set these numbers by hand.
Shopper reviews
Store reviews come only from signed-in shoppers, one per person per store. We don't write, buy or seed reviews, and we don't remove negative ones for being negative. We do remove spam, abuse, personal information and reviews that aren't about the store.
Expiry
When a brand states an end date, the offer moves to the expired list automatically on that date. Offers ending within three days are flagged as expiring soon. Standing offers, such as a free plan or a refund window, have no end date and stay live until a check shows they have changed.
Money and independence
Some links earn us a commission. That never decides whether an offer is listed, how it is described, or whether it is marked as working. Any paid or sponsored placement is labelled. The affiliate disclosure has the details.
Guides and articles
- Every statistic names its source. If we can't source a number, we leave it out.
- Prices and plan details come from the brand's own pricing page and carry the month they were checked.
- Worked examples are labelled as examples, not presented as someone's real purchase.
- We update or unpublish guides when the facts behind them change.
Corrections
Found an offer that's wrong, expired or missing its terms? Vote “didn't work” on the offer, or email hello@coupo9.com with the store and offer. Brands can use the same address to correct or remove their listings. We fix confirmed errors and archive offers we can no longer confirm.
